Review Process

Each manuscript is reviewed by three to five reviewers for suitability and clarity with final decisions reported to the author, usually within three weeks. When the majority of reviewers recommend publication of a paper, and one reviewer’s recommends rejection, ISDRCI seeks additional reviewers’ opinion to make the final decision. If your paper is accepted for publication, you will be asked to resubmit the paper along with a processing fee. Poor quality work with grammatical errors will not be sent for peer reviews. It is a waste of our reviewer’s time. The process will be blind review. It is the goal of the ISDRCJ to publish manuscripts as rapid as possible after submission.

Proofs and Reprints: Electronic proofs will be sent (e-mail attachment) to the corresponding author as a PDF file.  Page proofs are considered to be the final version of the manuscript. With the exception of typographical or minor clerical errors, no changes will be made in the manuscript at the proof stage.  Because ISDRCJ will be published freely online to attract a wide audience), authors will have free electronic access to the full text (in both HTML and PDF) of the article. Authors can freely download the PDF file from which they can print unlimited copies of their articles.

Copyright: Submission of a manuscript implies: that the work described has not been published before (except in the form of an abstract or as part of a published lecture, or thesis) that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere; that if and when the manuscript is accepted for publication, the authors agree to automatic transfer of the copyright to the publisher.

Fees and Charges: Authors are required to pay #11,000 or $150 being handling fee for Nigerian or No-Nigerian Residence respectively.  Publication of an article in the Insuderc Journals is not contingent upon the author's ability to pay the charges. Neither is acceptance to pay the handling fee a guarantee that the paper will be accepted for publication. Authors may still request (in advance) that the editorial office waive some of the handling fee under special circumstances

Handling Fees

ISDRC (Insuderc) Journals is a self supporting organization and does not receive funding from any institution/government. Hence, the operation of the Journal is solely financed by the handling fees received from authors. The handling fees are required to meet operations expenses such as employees’ salaries, internet services, electricity etc. Being an Open Access Publisher, Academic Journals does not receive payment for subscription as the journals are freely accessible over the internet.

Authors of articles are required to pay a fair handling fee for processing their articles.  However, there are no submission charges. Authors are required to make payment ONLY after their manuscripts have been accepted for publication. There is no financial reward for reviewers and editors of the various journals. These positions are purely voluntary.
